Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi spoke to NDTV’s Ravish Kumar in a 30 minute live interview and accused the PM for having a “personal hatred” against him.
Talking to the NDTV’s Kumar, Mr. Gandhi said that wherever he goes, he finds people afraid and they are scared that some people are trying to run the country. He says that his main aim is to fight the ideology of hate, a reference to the ideology of RSS and the BJP.
Gandhi also disowned the comments made by Sam Pitroda about the 1984 anti-Sikh Riots. Rahul Gandhi said, “1984 tragedy wasw rong” and those who “committed the violence should be punished.” Gandhi also said that he learns from everybody and took a jibe at PM Modi by saying, “I have learned from PM Modi on how not to run the country.”
Talking about his educational qualifications, the Congress President says that he has an “M.Phil”. Earlier, this month a controversy had arisen about Gandhi’s educational qualifications, whether or not, he is an M.Phil from Cambridge.
Gandhi also said that he has no problems in giving TV interviews and says, “The worst thing that can happen is I will make mistakes and it is human to make mistakes.”
